Don’t you think its about time we turn the page on F-Mart? He’s been letting us down for to long. He is batting .257 in AAA!

I haven’t given up on him. I think he’s still a young kid who may be an excellent center fielder. But given that we have Pagan, if FMart could net us a good pitcher, the Mets should consider it.

Happy we agree, I am all for trading F-Mart. His value keeps dropping and we know he is not going to be a good major leaguer

Agreed. They can’t get anybody useful for Francoeur, they’d be crazy to trade Pagan, and they’d have to take bad contracts in return for Bay or Beltran’s. Also, the Mets can really use all four of them. Beltran is an unknown right now, and will need days off. Francoeur hits lefties well, and is a good guy to have on the bench, especially with Tatis as the Mets only right handed pinch hitter. I wouldn’t mess with the Mets’ outfield now. And I’m glad that everybody finally agrees that Pagan should always start against righties. If you need to trade an outfielder to get a pitcher I’d see what I can get for guys like FMart and Duda.
